Traslado Permanente, Behind the Scenes shot by Eduardo Caballero, 2024.

Under the creative direction of César Brodermann, the visual material for Traslado Permanente was developed. The piece premiered in the summer of 2024 at the MUAC Esplanade, performed by the Aterno dance company. PR and design teams were coordinated to ensure a cohesive image and communication aligned with the vision of the work. Two posters, a program, and a postcard were produced.
During discussions with curator Ilse Urquieta, the team conceived a ritual of stamping each program with the date of the upcoming performance, a process inspired by passport markings. This act begins the performance with a black and red stamp on top of a design influenced by 1970s Merce Cunningham printed materials. The visuals and text excerpts derive from the creation of Traslado Permanente, incorporating César’s photographic archive and the dancers’ research.
Shot and edited by Eduardo Caballero.
Additional material by Jacobo Ríos and Proyecto 24.
